Reflections on Self-Determination Theory

The present collection of articles in this special issue on selfdetermination theory (SDT) reflects the quality and creativity of the research conducted by Canadian motivation researchers. In this concluding article, we make some general comments that underscore common elements in these articles. Furthermore, we highlight some issues that may not have attracted researchers’ attention but would appear to represent worthwhile future research directions.
